Smith Memorial Congregational Church, UCC, is a small, active, historic, rural church located in beautiful Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Founded in the 1760’s as a Congregational Church, we are presently affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a denomination that seeks to reflect the extravagant welcome of Jesus Christ. We often communicate, verbally and in other ways, “Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”

New To Smith Church

Our church service begins at 10:30 AM on Sunday and lasts about an hour. During the summer, from July 4th until Labor Day, service begins at 9:30 AM. A fellowship time follows the worship service.

Please enter the sanctuary by using the front steps and continuing up the staircase located to the left or right of the main entrance. You may also use the accessible side ramp to the right of the building along the garden. An elevator to the sanctuary is accessible from the ground floor. Hearing devices and nursery care are available. Just ask an usher.
